The Onslow Arms is a 17th century village pub that sits next to the Wey and Arun Canal in the picturesque village of Loxwood, West Sussex near Billingshurst.

We have beautiful open fires in the bar to warm you after a brisk walk along the canal, a dining area with wooden floors and exposed brickwork, where you can feast upon our home cooked food, such as locally sourced sausages, finest local meat, vegetarian meals and a traditional Sunday roast. Childrens’ meals are also available. Or come in and enjoy the Hall and Woodhouse real ales such as Badger 1st Gold, Sussex and seasonal bitters. We also offer a selection of good wines.

We have a large, pretty garden which sits alongside a river with play equipment to keep the children entertained. We also have a second garden overlooking a section of the Wey and Arun Canal, which has been recently restored.

We are very popular with walkers, whether you are out with the dog (check out www.horshamdogs.co.uk for a map and details of a good dog walk), or on a group walk. We open from 11am and are happy to serve coffee. The dogs can have a dog biscuit and bowl of water too! If you prefer to be on the water rather than next to it, the Wey and Arun Canal have seasonal boat trips which start and finish just outside the pub!

We serve food every lunchtime and Monday to Saturday in the evenings. We also have a Quiz night every Sunday and a Jazz Jam evening on the last Wednesday of the month (see events page)
